Topaz Solar Farm: Photovoltaic Panel Plant Planned for Central California
Topaz Solar Farm is a planned 550 megawatt solar photovolatic power plant to be built with thin-film panels supplied by OptiSolar. PG&E has agreed to buy all of the power from the plant, which is expected to amount to 550 gigawatt-hours annually. 1
The installation would use 9.5 square miles of ranch land in San Luis Obispo County. 2
